Director of Local Government, Decentralization and Rural Development on the Presidency, Dennis Miracles, has appealed to each the Majority and Minority in Parliament to help the 2023 Budget and Economic Policy of Government.
The 2023 finances is anticipated to be learn by Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, on Thursday, November 24.
However, some stories point out that the MPs will abandon the finances whether it is offered by the Finance Minister whose place is vehemently protested by the members of the House.
The MPs are calling for the elimination of Mr. Ken Ofori-Atta.
Contributing to Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” programme Wednesday morning, Dennis Miracles pleaded with the MPs to welcome the 2023 finances with none opposition.
He warned them to not repeat the conduct some exhibited through the 2022 finances presentation which noticed a boycott by the Minority.
“We should all agree that where we are today, we are in this together…so we should stick together to pass this 2023 budget without those unnecessary partisan entrenched politicking. The minority, majority, civil society organizations, political party, religious groups; we should all stick together and pass this budget on time.
“We want to know going into the 2023 finances. If we do this, I’m certain on the trail of restoration that we wish to set, we’ll attain there swiftly. If we do not that and we repeat the 2022 finances points, we ought to be prepared for a extra horrible occasions than we’re experiencing now,” Dennis Miracles suggested.
