The Ashanti Regional Police Command has arrested some 396 suspected criminals with 792 motorbikes impounded.

This was after swoops had been carried out in varied elements of the area as measures to curb crime between Wednesday, September 14 and Monday, September 20, 2021.

The operation was performed inside all of the 15 Police Divisions within the Area with the suspects aged between 17 and 55 years.

The command in an announcement famous the suspects had been screened and profiled with these discovered culpable arraigned in varied courts.

“A few of them had been remanded into custody to reappear at a later date, whereas others had been granted court docket bail to report,” a part of the assertion learn.
