The mom of Tigran Gambaryan, the Binance government detained in Nigeria, Knarik Gambaryan, has acknowledged that her son is harmless of the fees introduced towards him by the Nigerian authorities.

Gambaryan, a US citizen and Binance’s Financial Crimes Compliance Chief, was arrested in February 2024 alongside one other government, Nadeem Anjarwalla, upon their arrival in Nigeria.
Their detention adopted an investigation allegedly linking Binance to cash laundering and terrorism financing.
However, Anjarwalla fled the nation and stays in Kenya, the place he has not but been extradited.
