The Edo State Government has commenced the coaching of extra 1,500 operatives of the state Security Vigilante Network as a part of efforts to sort out safety challenges within the state.
Speaking to journalists on the Police Training School in Ogida Barracks on Sunday, the Coordinator of ESSVN, Col. Kole Omomia, stated the lads had been being educated within the fourth batch of the coaching programme, bringing the overall of males educated to this point to about 5,074.
He stated, “We are having 1,500 males of the ESSVN on coaching right here at the moment and they’re the fourth batch being educated and they’re from Oredo and Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Areas.
“So far, these we have now educated within the state are about 5,074 safety operatives and hunters.
