Former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has revealed his intention to attraction the Accra High Court‘s determination to order him to pay GHC 1 million in damages to journalist Anthony Sarfo.
The judgment was associated to a malicious prosecution case stemming from allegations of extortion following a rape accusation involving Gyan.
Gyan expressed his dissatisfaction with the decision, stating as quoted by 3xtra, “I will definitely appeal because it doesn’t make sense,” and added, “There is no way I should lose that case.”
He questioned the judge‘s determination, suggesting a conspiracy and vowed to observe up on the matter.
Justice Ernest Owusu Dapaa discovered that the supervisor of Asamoah Gyan had set the malicious prosecution in movement, resulting in the High Court‘s ruling on Friday, December 8.
Anthony Sarfo, the journalist concerned within the case, stated he was thrilled with the judgment.
