Troops of Operation Secure Haven have reported an assault by unidentified individuals at Ungwan Taila village , Zangon Kataf LGA of Kaduna state by which two residents had been killed.
This was confirmed in an announcement on Sunday by Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Ministry of Inside Safety and Dwelling Affairs, Kaduna State.
He mentioned in line with a report back to the Kaduna State Authorities, the troops arrived the placement simply to find that the assailants had killed two residents: Helen Fortunate and Hananiah Elijah.
“Receiving the report, Governor Nasir El-Rufai expressed deep remorse at additional lack of life from such assaults within the space. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the deceased, and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to their households.”
“Within the meantime, the troops will proceed search-and-rescue operations within the space. Residents shall be briefed on additional updates,” the commissioner mentioned.
