Voting has commenced in earnest for who leads the folks of Assin North Constituency in Parliament.
The Liberal Celebration of Ghana (LPG) is battling it out with the New Patriotic Celebration (NPP) and the Nationwide Democratic Congress (NDC).

The NDC is satisfied that Gyakye Quayson, who was the incumbent Member of Parliament, would retain the seat by the shut of polls.
This however the NPP can also be assured that their candidate, Charles Opoku has what it takes to grab the seat from the NDC, whereas the LPG is hopeful that Bernice Enyonam Sefenu who’s contesting on their ticket might pull a shock.
The Assin North Parliamentary seat grew to become vacant after the Supreme Courtroom on Wednesday, Might 17, unanimously declared unconstitutional the election of James Gyakye Quayson because the MP for the realm.
Parliament then wrote to the Electoral Fee declaring the seat vacant, giving method to this by-election.
Following this, the 2 events have been actively campaigning within the constituency to win the coveted seat.
