The Bulk Energy Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) has donated laptops to 50 college students on the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT), in Tarkwa, to assist their research as a part of a four-year scholarship bundle program.
The beneficiary college students are already a part of the corporate’s scholarship programme and have been chosen from throughout its host communities throughout the nation.
The Deputy Managing Director of BOST, Joseph Kpemka, talking at a quick ceremony to current the laptops to the needy however good college students in Tarkwa, highlighted the initiative as a company social duty effort geared toward empowering college students.
“The laptops will facilitate access to information, online research, and academic work,” Kpemka acknowledged.
