A couple of hours in the past, it was reported {that a} Bullion Van carrying an undisclosed amount of cash was attacked at a filling station in Ablekuma Fanmilk.

In response to an eyewitness who spoke to Angel TV, the armed robbers touring in a black car and motorbikes launched an assault on the bullion van shortly after it was parked on the Star Oil Gasoline Station close to the ECG workplace in Ablekuma Fanmilk.
The robbers focused the police officer contained in the van and shot him twice injuring them within the shoulder and stomach which result in his loss of life.
In response to a CCTV footage that has popped up on-line, the motive force of the Bullion Van was seen operating away from the scene when the armed robbers attacked the car.
Sadly, the robbers managed to flee with the stolen cash.

In the meantime, Ghana Police have launched a hunt for the suspected armed robbers.
