Ashanti Regional Co-ordinating Council (RCC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Education has set up a 5-member committee to probe the problem of vandalism by college students of the Krobea Asante Technical and Vocational School.
Over 40 college students have been remanded final Sunday for inflicting harm to authorities automobiles as they apparently protested the poor outcomes of their seniors’ ultimate examination.
The committee can be chaired by a justice of the Appeals Court, Justice Samuel Obeng Diawuo.
He can be supported by Rev. Rt. Nuh Ben Abubekr, a retired Methodist Bishop and Mr. David Adu-Osei, a retired regional commander.
The different members are Deputy Director-General of Ghana TVET Service, David Prah, and Dr. Abeiku Apprey, Former Principal Officer of the Kumasi Technical Institute.
The Chief Director of the Ashanti Regional Co-ordinating Council would be the secretary however an ex-officio member of the committee.
While a date for the inauguration of the committee is but to be introduced, it’s anticipated to full investigation and submit a report within the house of two weeks after induction.
