A distinguished physician in Nigerian has been gunned down as he returned from a commemorative lecture in honour of his late spouse.
In line with a BBC report, Dr Chike Akunyili was shot within the face by gunmen who opened hearth on his car within the city of Nkpor in south-eastern Anambra state.
