After months of ready, it has formally been confirmed that the flagbearer of the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has consulted President Akufo-Addo on his alternative of a working mate for the December 7 presidential election and it’s Matthew Opoku Prempeh in any other case often called NAPO.

“In 2017, President Akufo-Addo appointed him Education Minister and he now serves as the Energy Minister. The name is Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh also known as NAPO,” he mentioned.
The PleasureNews Presidential correspondent mentioned that it’s unclear whether or not the Vice President’s alternative of Dr. Opoku Prempeh as his working mate was influenced by the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) survey.
However, he famous that the Energy Minister seems to be the popular alternative of the social gathering’s grassroots.
