A New Canaan High School senior and hockey star, Elliot Kropf, has died, the college introduced in a press release.
Kropf’s dying occurred on Saturday, September 14th, 2024. A reason for dying was not introduced.
“The New Canaan community is mourning the sudden death of high school senior Elliott Kropf, who died last night,” Superintendent Bryan Luizzi stated in a press release Sunday.
“Elliott was a strong student, an excellent athlete, a kind young man, and a wonderful friend, and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him,”

Kropf, of New Canaan CT, performed varsity hockey for the New Canaan High School Wildcats. The ahead was an instrumental a part of the Wildcats in his junior 12 months as they romped to a 22-3 report.
Tributes poured in for the deceased and Superintendent Luizzi revealed sources had been being made accessible for traumatized college students.
“My heart breaks for Elliott, his family, and all who knew and loved him. Together, let’s keep them all in our thoughts and prayers as we support one another during this challenging time.” he concluded his assertion.
