Five individuals have been arrested in reference to the homicide of Ghanaian businessman Eric Johnson, CEO of Royal Cosy Hills Hotel aka Jirapa Dubai which is situated within the Upper West area of Ghana.
Eric Johnson was stabbed dead late Saturday by unknown assailants and was later discovered mendacity in a pool of blood by police.
Ghana Police launched a press release Sunday revealing that they had arrested one suspect.
“The Ghana Police Service has commenced investigation into the circumstances surrounding the demise of Mr. Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cosy Hill Hotel at Jirapa within the Upper West Region.
“The deceased was discovered on eleventh February, 2024 mendacity in a pool of blood in one of many rooms on the lodge. The Regional Crime Scene Management Team has visited the scene of the incident. One individual has since been detained to help the investigation.
“The Inspector-General of Police has deployed a team of investigators and experts led by the Director-General/CID to work with the Upper West Regional Police Command to ensure a thorough investigation into the incident,”
The suspect was later recognized as Kumbata Kwaku, an worker of Cosy Hills Hotel.
The Ghana Police Service then revealed Monday, eleventh February, that it had arrested 4 (4) extra individuals in reference to the homicide of Mr. Eric Johnson, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cossy Hill Hotel at Jirapa within the Upper West Region.
In a short assertion the Police Service disclosed that the suspects, Dookuuri Fausta, Braimah Kasim, Beyuo Felix and Michael Klugey who’re all staff on the Cossy Hill Hotel are in Police custody aiding the investigation.
