Former Deputy Minister of Health, Tina Naa Ayele Mensah, has blamed the sudden demise of the previous Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Weija-Gbawe, Patrick Kwasi Brako Kumor, on his removing from workplace.
According to the Member of Parliament for Weija-Gbawe Constituency, President Akufo-Addo eliminated her from the place of Deputy Minister of Health in addition to her Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) with none prior dialogue with them.
The MP acknowledged this when she paid a go to to the residence of the late Patrick Kumor to sympathize with the bereaved spouse and household on May 6, 2024.
Speaking with Onua News’ Akua Sarpomaa, Madam Tina Mensah alleged that, “My late MCE did not do anything to be sacked, but because he supported me, and I lost the primaries that was the only mistake my MCE made.”

“How can someone who was adjudged number one MCE at the national and regional levels be sacked? He won several awards due to his performance as MCE. He was replaced without anybody consulting me,” she acknowledged amid wailing.
