Four shot, dozens injured as farmers clash with herdsmen — Starr Fm

Four individuals have allegedly been shot in a conflict between farmers and Fulani herdsmen at Salamkope close to Gudupe village in Afram Plains South District in Eastern Region.

About ten (10) cattle had been reportedly shot and killed whereas dozens have sustained accidents.

The renewed clashes had been triggered after the residents accused the herdsmen of destroying their crops and water our bodies.

According to Donkokrom Fulani chief Idrisa Sambo Jallo, this occurred final week and has been reported to the police however no motion has been taken.

He mentioned the assailants allegedly attacked the Fulani herdsmen with weapons and machetes wounding three and allegedly killing one individual.

Three of the victims in important situation are on admission at Donkokrom Hospital.

Some 18 properties had been additionally burnt into ashes, all of the cows shot had been additionally allegedly stolen whereas the alleged deceased herdsman is nowhere to be discovered.
