The Ghana Police Service has introduced that it’s mourning the passing of the three officers who died in an accident at Kyekyewere within the Eastern Region.
According to the Service, it’s saddened by the tragic incident.
“With a heavy heart, the Ghana Police Service mourns three of our gallant officers who lost their lives in a fatal accident today at Kyekyewere along the Accra – Kumasi Highway while on their way for Police operational duties,” an announcement posted on Facebook reads.

The deceased who had been in a branded Formed Police Unit (FPU) car are stated to be amongst a Police convoy deployed on Wednesday to the Kwahu enclave for the 4 days National Paragliding Festival anticipated to begin on Friday.
Eyewitness stated the car after skidding off the Accra-Kumasi freeway and summersaulting, plunged into a close-by bush. The doorways of the FPU car concerned within the accident obtained indifferent and the windscreen cracked past recognition.
