Henry Nana Boakye has condemned the non secular feedback by the chief of the Movement for Change, Alan Kyerematen, concerning the presidential elections in December.
Addressing a congregation throughout Easter celebrations, Mr. Kyerematen urged Christians to train their voting rights by selecting a candidate who shares their beliefs.
“As a predominately Christian nation and as Christians, it is our responsibility to ensure we elect a Christian leader who is also a Christlike leader”, he mentioned, referring to himself because the chief with such qualities.
But the National Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye has cautioned Alan Kyerematen to chorus from creating non secular divisions.
According to him, Alan’s feedback are “not the best. It doesn’t unite us; it’s not good”.
Nana Boakye admonished Alan and each Ghanaian to be tolerant of each other stressing “God can make a Muslim the President of this country and this country could be better. We need to be religiously tolerant. That’s what has strengthened our peace”.
He additionally touted the flagbearer of the governing celebration, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as a frontrunner who has confirmed together with his actions and phrases that he respects all religions and this he has demonstrated via his relation with Christians although he’s a Muslim.
“His respect for all manner of faith is overwhelming and he is religiously tolerant”, Nana B emphasised on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” present.
