A GoFundMe fundraiser to assist the household of Lenape, NJ highschool pupil London Deshields following her tragic dying has picked up vital momentum.
London Deshields all of the sudden and unexpectedly misplaced her life to to the shock of her household and buddies.
Her dying was introduced by the Philadelphia Belles, the primary women basketball journey staff program that’s coached by Dave Deshields, London’s father.
The program wrote in a put up shared to X (previously Twitter): “The Philadelphia Belles are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Coach Dave Deshields’ daughter. Our hearts go out to Coach Deshields and his family during this incredibly challenging time. 🙏🏼🙏🏼”

London Deshields was a Lenape High School pupil and a high class athlete in her personal proper, competing in monitor and gymanstics. The highschool sophomore ran the 100m, 200m, and 4x100m, serving to her college to spectacular performances in monitor meets.

A GoFundMe began in her honor described her as having ‘a ardour for all times that shined brightly by every little thing she did‘ and for possessing power and enthusiasm that was simply ‘infectious‘.
“As we say goodbye to London, we invite you to donate to give her a fitting and beautiful home-going that honors her spirit and legacy. Your generosity will help ensure that London’s memory lives on in a meaningful way,” the fundraiser implored.
At the time of publication, the GoFundMe had raised $27,243 out of its $35,000 aim.
