The Deputy Minister of Communications and Digitalisation, Honourable Ama Pomaa Boateng, has lauded Vodafone Ghana for supporting the youth in creating core digital abilities that add worth to their careers and ventures.
The Deputy Minister recommended the telecommunications community throughout her opening remarks on the Vodafone Skills Fair held on 1st September 2022. The Minister added that she was particularly impressed with Vodafone’s assist for the federal government’s agenda of driving digital development among the many youth.
According to her, Vodafone Ghana has proven this dedication over time by partnering with the Ministry to embark on numerous initiatives such because the Girls in ICT programme, the Tertiary Digital Innovation programme, and others.
While applauding Vodafone for internet hosting the Skills Fair, she urged the youth to benefit from the platform to realize digital abilities that can put together them for future challenges.
“We thank you, Vodafone Ghana, for your support over the years. We encourage you, the youth, to take up this space. Pay attention, ask questions, and be relevant. Thank you, Vodafone Ghana, for supporting our youth, making them digital citizens, and making them secure online,” she added.
The Vodafone Skills Fair is a flagship company social duty programme championed by Vodafone. It creates a platform for younger Ghanaians to attach with skilled professionals who’ve constructed enviable careers of their respective fields.
