The Minister for Trade and Industry Alan Kyeremanteng has introduced that authorities will revive the defunct Kumasi Neoplan Ghana restricted bus workshop which has not been lively for some years now.
Addressing the media as a part of President Akufo Addo’s working tour to the Ashanti area, Mr Kyeremanten mentioned the federal government will take up the workshop into the one district one manufacturing unit agenda.
He revealed preliminary association has been made for the federal government via the Metro Mass transit to order 100 buses from Neoplan Ghana Limited.
President Akufo Addo whereas addressing the employees of Neoplan Ghana restricted assured the administration of the corporate that his authorities is dedicated to reviving the corporate.
He mentioned all of the requests made by the corporate will likely be assessed and granted.
“We revived Neoplan beneath President Kufuor, If President Mahama had achieved one thing at Neoplan there could be no must revive the corporate however I’m dedicated to creating certain Neoplan works once more.
“We do everything possible to ensure that Neoplan works again…all we need is a little time to get the company working again.”
