No fewer than 25 members of the Christ Apostolic Church, Oke Igan, Akure, Ondo State have been kidnapped by some hoodums within the state on Friday.
The victims, mentioned to be members of church’s choir, had been reportedly attacked and kidnapped on the Benin-Akure Expressway round Ifon axis in Ose Native Authorities Space of the state, Friday night.
They had been mentioned to be touring to Ifon for a burial ceremony whereas the hoodlums waylaid them and dragged them to the bush to an unknown vacation spot.

A member of the church, on situation of anonymity, mentioned the car conveying the victims was seen deserted by the roadside. He mentioned the matter had been reported on the police station.
