Rev. Father Peter Kusi Twumasi, the Acting Rector of St. Stephen Rectorate in Bodomase, Ashanti Region, has issued a proper apology to the Catholic neighborhood after main his congregation in singing King Paluta’s secular track “Aseda” throughout a church service. The incident, captured on video, exhibits many congregation members enthusiastically becoming a member of the priest in singing, sparking blended reactions amongst followers and social media customers.
In his assertion, Rev. Father Twumasi expressed deep remorse for his actions, acknowledging that he allowed secular influences to enter a sacred house. He admitted, “I realize now that my mistake has caused offence and confusion, and for that, I am truly sorry.”
He prolonged his apologies to the Bishop, the Diocese, the National Liturgical Commission, and your complete Catholic neighborhood for any offense or scandal his actions could have prompted.
