Our Favourite Kashiwa Reysol vs Sapporo Predictions and Picks
If you need help to find the latest J League predictions ahead of the match between Kashiwa Reysol and Sapporo, you’re in the right place:
Sapporo to win
Sapporo head into their match against Kashiwa Reysol in great form having won four of their last five matches. Not only have they been winning, but they’ve also been scoring for fun as well, putting five past Tokyo, four against Shonan and a good 3-2 victory over Yokohama Marinos in the cup. With the goals flowing as well as the wins, Sapporo come into this encounter in red hot form.
Over 2.5 Goals
Sapporo are scoring plenty at present, but Kashiwa Reysol have been active in front of goal of late, too. Scoring three against Albirex Niigata in front of their own fans, as well as drawing 1-1 with top of the league Vissel Kobe, they clearly are capable of getting on the scoresheet in their home environment. This bet has comfortably landed in four of the last five head to heads.

Kashiwa Reysl vs Sapporo Preview:
This looks to be an intriguing encounter on Saturday morning, so let’s take a better look at the teams ahead of their game:
Kashiwa Reysol
Despite being stronger at home, Kashiwa Reysol head into their match against Sapporo without a win in their last five matches. In those five matches, they’ve failed to score in four of those, and with confidence low in front of goal, this isn’t the time to be playing a team scoring left, right and centre.
If they are to get back on the scoresheet they’ll need to lean on 21-year-old striker Mao Hosoya, who is the club’s top goalscorer in the J League with four to his name. He hasn’t found the back of the net in his last five matches, but neither has anyone else, and he will likely be given another chance to lead the line.
Kashiwa Reysol Predicted Lineup:
Matsumoto – Kawaguchi, Tatsuta, Koga, Katayama – Toshima, Takamine, Yamada, Matheus Savio, Koyamatsu – Hosoya
Sapporo
Sapporo head into this match full of confidence after some big wins of late. Having beaten Yokohama 4-1 on the road, they’ve not looked back and have gone from strength to strength as they look to improve their league position after a poor start to the campaign.
The club has not one, but two reliable goalscorers. Yuya Asano has eight to his name while midfielder Takuro Kaneko has six of his own, as well as five assists in the J League. Both are proving to put together a formidable relationship on the pitch which may not be stopped just yet.
Sapporo Predicted Lineup:
Sugeno – Tanaka, Okamura, Fukumori – Kaneko, Arano, Miyazawa, Suga, Asano, Komai – Ogashiwa
Starting Lineups
You can find the starting lineups here around one hour before the game starts.
Player to Watch: Yuya Asano
Sapporo’s 26-year-old striker Yuya Asano is enjoying his first season with the club having left Hiroshima at the beginning of 2023. The forward’s chances were limited but since his move he has thrived, scoring more goals than any other season to date, and he will be a constant threat once again on Saturday. Kashiwa Reysol will have to find a way to control a player very much in form, but that’s easier said than done.
