The administration of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has agreed to prolong the deadline for fee of fees for deferred students by one month.
This follows a gathering with the Minister of Education Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum.
The administration of the KNUST on Wednesday introduced that 6000 students have been deferred for non-payment of their fees.
Public Relations Officer on the KNUST, Dr Norris Bekoe defined that the college has over time hit by the scenario the place indebted students go away college after graduating and by no means come again to pay.
He attributed this to the refusal of the administration to apply the price coverage therefore the choice to apply it now.
Dr Bekoe advised TV3’s Ibrahim Abubakar that “over the years we have had challenges of students completing University and then going away with our fees partly because we had not applied the fee policy. So this time around the academic board has decided to apply the fee policy.”
