Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Ahmed Ibrahim says equally necessary duties by Members of Parliament brought on their lateness to the chamber.
According to him, some duties can’t be left unattended to and pleads with the Speaker of Parliament to rethink his resolution to lock the doorways of Parliament at 10 am from subsequent 12 months.
Ahmed Ibrahim instructed NEAT FM’s morning present, ‘Ghana Montie’ that the management of the House will meet with the Speaker for additional dialogue.
“We must sit with the Speaker to have further discussion,” he famous.
Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin appears anxious concerning the lateness development within the House.
He mentioned it was not proper for him to return and await them (MPs) to begin the enterprise of the House.
However, Alban Bagbin has vowed to lock the doorways of Parliament at 10 am from subsequent 12 months.
