Site of the crash, NAF Base, Port Harcourt, Rivers State
A Nigerian Air Force helicopter, on Friday, crashlanded and exploded on the NAF Base, Port Harcourt.
Though what led to the crash couldn’t be instantly ascertained, it was learnt that the incident occurred round 7.50am.
A supply mentioned, “I used to be inside my condominium once I heard this thunderous sound on the NAF Base.
“The next thing I saw was a thick flame. I don’t know if there are casualties because I can’t go close to the scene for now. But I heard a blast twice. ”
