JoyNews’ Fact-Check on John Mahama’s assertion on BOST earnings is unsuitable. The former President was proper when he confidently said that BOST generated earnings throughout his tenure as President.

In help of his assertion, I’ve hooked up a screenshot of web page 45 from the 2017 State Ownership Report, which was revealed by the Ministry of Finance in 2018 underneath the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia/ NPP authorities. This official doc clearly exhibits that BOST achieved internet earnings of GHS 88.09 million in 2016 and GHS109.36 million in 2015.

The subsequent manipulation of the books and monetary data of BOST by means of doubtful audit practices, is disgraceful and ought to be rejected by any discerning thoughts. Sadly, that seems to have knowledgeable JoyNews’ fact-check
