Avis Ghana has been presented with the coveted Long Service Award at the Avis Budget Group Global Licensee Conference held in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
In a prestigious recognition of their outstanding commitment and dedication to providing top-notch vehicle rental services, this esteemed accolade acknowledges Avis Ghana’s remarkable performance as a licensee of Avis Europe since the year 2000.
The Avis Budget Group, a renowned international provider of car rental and car sharing services, operates under the well-known Avis and Budget brands across approximately 180 countries, including Ghana.

Mona Boyd, the Managing Director of Avis Ghana, noted that this accolade not only recognizes the exemplary services provided by Avis Ghana but also highlights the impressive global reach of the Avis Budget Group and solidifies their position as a leading player in the global car rental industry.
She was present at the conference to graciously accept the prestigious award on behalf of the entire Avis Ghana team. The conference served as an important gathering for Avis Budget Group’s global licensees, bringing together industry leaders and innovators under one roof to share insights and discuss emerging trends in the ever-evolving car rental landscape.

Avis Ghana boasts an impressive fleet of over 50 vehicles, comprising sedans, 4x4s, mini buses, luxury vehicles, and coaches, catering to the varying preferences and requirements of their esteemed clientele.

Notably, Avis Ghana has had the privilege of serving esteemed dignitaries, including Her Majesty the Queen of England, as well as the Heads of States of Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil, and India.
Additionally, the company has provided transportation services during three visits by former U.S. Presidents, George W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and Barack Obama. Most recently, Avis Ghana had the honor of facilitating transportation for the visit of United States Vice President Kamala Harris to Ghana, solidifying their reputation as the go-to transportation service provider for high-profile events and dignitaries.
