NPP Government Is ‘Lazy, Intolerant And Excessively Arrogant’ – Inusah Fuseini Fumes | Politics

Former NDC Member of Parliament(MP) for Tamale Central, Inusah Fuseini has described the federal government of the New Patriotic Party as lazy, illiberal and excessively boastful.

According to him, the ruling authorities has poorly managed the problems surrounding the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme which has adversely affected particular person livelihoods and at the moment inflicting turmoil within the monetary sector. 

Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ programme, he defined that the NPP authorities has induced the mess the nation at the moment finds itself in and as such have to be made to pay for his or her sins.

The New Patriotic Party’s failure to handle the financial system higher is the reason for the nation’s mishaps, he stated.

“Some Ghanaians signed petitions to prevent the government from further borrowing, which fell on deaf ears, but now look at where we are now.

“This is the intense impact of mismanagement, which in the long term is affecting the nation’s monetary system and financial actions.

“The Akufo-Addo government’s Debt Exchange Programme has suffered setbacks from Ghanaians,” he added.

A gaggle referred to as “Individual Bondholders Forum” (IBF) says authorities has proven whole disregard for the contractual rights of Individual bondholders and has made no effort to construction affordable consultations with particular person bondholders.

The minority in parliament has raised a robust objection to the programme.

According to them, the sector has not but recovered from the recapitalization train that was carried out by the federal government.

“It poses a risk to financial institutions, insurance companies, and, more recently, individual bondholders.”

“The financial institutions and insurance companies offer employment and they support businesses; this is at risk now.”
