YAF warned that such deliberate protests and lockdown are geared toward bringing down the nation and the incumbent administration of President Muhammadu Buhari.

YAF Nationwide Coordinator, Adeshina Animashaun, gave this warning at a press convention in Lagos to mark the 61st Independence anniversary celebrations.

Animashaun said that Nigerian youths needs to be cautious and vigilant to keep away from unknowingly aiding or collaborating in violent actions beneath the aegis of unpatriotic teams and people claiming to be championing their rights to protest and agitate for Nigeria’s dismemberment.

YAF warned that partaking in such actions, willingly or unwillingly, may have severe penalties for them as they may very well be unknowingly aiding terrorism beneath a special guise cloaked as patriotic actions.
