Activities commemorating the third coronation anniversary of the Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, will kick off on Monday on the palace with a reward and worship session.
The Eson of Warri kingdom and Chairman of the anniversary’s Publicity/Media Committee, Chief Solomon Arenyeka, disclosed this to journalists in Warri, Delta State, on Saturday whereas unveiling the programmes earmarked for the anniversary.
The week-long celebration, in accordance with Arenyeka, will proceed on Tuesday with homage-paying ceremonies/anniversary lectures additionally on the Palace from midday.
The programme confirmed that Wednesday, August 21 will function an anniversary/homage paying on the palace.
On Thursday, August 22, there will probably be homage paying at Ode Itsekiri and the presentation of a drama/play.
Friday, August 23, is billed for a novelty match by Olori Ladies at Ode Itsekiri and homage paying.
On Saturday, August 24, there will probably be a presentation of awards to distinguished Itsekiri little children on the palace and a presentation of a music and poetry live performance for Atuwatse III.
“Sunday, August 25, which is the grand finale will feature a thanksgiving service at the palace,” Arenyeka acknowledged.
