The Pensioner Bondholder Forum has begun the method of engagements with Former President John Agyekum Kufuor and Former President John Dramani Mahama to hunt their sympathy, assist and intervention for its trigger.

Adu A. Antwi, Forum Convener, mentioned “we have petitioned the government to exempt all pensioners holding Government Bonds from the Domestic Debt Exchange Programme on the same basis used for the exemption of Pension Funds from the programme.”
It mentioned they haven’t acquired any response from the Government. Initially, they notified the Police that about 50 of its members supposed to converge on the premises of the Ministry of Finance on Monday, January 23, 2023 at 0900 hours to demand that the Minister holds a gathering with representatives on the petition.
