The Pensioner Bondholders Discussion board has declared members’ intention to not be a part of the federal government’s recent Home Debt Alternate Programme (DDEP).
Authorities has invited bondholders together with pensioners to be a part of the Programme, which shall be restricted to ESLA Plc and Daakye Belief Plc bonds.
This was contained in a letter issued by the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, September 13, calling on home bondholders to actively and voluntarily take part within the Programme.

However addressing journalists in Accra on Monday, September 18, the Convener of the Discussion board, Dr Adu Anane Antwi, defined that no pensioner is accessible to just accept the federal government’s supply.
He mentioned they have been conscious authorities could be looking for extension after the primary programme closed on Monday, February 13.
In accordance with him, pensioners can’t be a part of the newly introduced supply, emphasising that they’ve been exempted.
