Ghana’s Black Queens suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Zambia within the first leg of their Paris 2024 Olympic Games qualifier on Friday.
The staff faces an uphill battle within the second leg on Wednesday, February 28, as they try to beat the deficit and safe development to the ultimate qualifying spherical.
Zambia’s star participant, Racheal Kundananji, scored the successful purpose within the 18th minute, and her staff held on for a historic victory.
The win offers Zambia management of the tie, making it tough for Ghana to progress.
Ghana’s goal is to achieve the Olympic Games for the primary time, however this consequence has put their qualification hopes in jeopardy. The winner of this tie will face both Tunisia or Morocco within the last qualifying spherical.
