Ugandan athlete Rebecca Cheptegei has sadly handed away days after she was set on hearth by her ex-boyfriend.
On Sunday, Cheptegei was admitted to the hospital after she suffered extreme burns from being doused in petro and set on hearth.
Authorities mentioned the incident occurred in Kenya, the place she had been dwelling and coaching, and was focused after coming back from church.

Local police chief Jeremiah ole Kosiom later confirmed: “The couple were heard quarrelling outside their house. During the altercation, the boyfriend was seen pouring a liquid on the woman before burning her.”
