The ruling authorities intends to reintroduce the gathering of street tolls, in response to a press release from the Finance Ministry.
It could also be recalled that the street toll was scrapped following the introduction of E-levy. According to the federal government, the e-levy would change street tolls.
In view of this, many have requested what is going to occur to the controversial e-levy for the reason that assortment of the street toll is being reintroduced. One of them is the host of Peace FM‘s morning present ‘Kokrokoo‘, Kwami Sefa Kayi.

Meanwhile, the Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has requested the federal government to cancel the Electronic Transfer Levy (E-Levy) now that the federal government is planning to reintroduce street tolls.
