TGMA reviewing Amerado’s petition over ‘Kwaku Ananse’ omission in nomination
Robert Klah, the Head of Public Events and Communications for the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, has confirmed that Amerado’s crew has contacted the scheme relating to the exclusion of his hit track, ‘Kwaku Ananse,’ from the Most Popular Song of the Year class.
Following the discharge of nominations for the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) on March 28, the rapper expressed concern concerning the absence of his unique track in that class.
During an interview on the Daybreak Hitz present on Hitz FM on April 2, Robert Klah acknowledged that Amerado had submitted a petition relating to his track’s omission. He talked about that the enchantment is presently being reviewed and shall be thought-about for inclusion if deemed appropriate.

“Amerado’s crew has already reached out to us immediately relating to the exclusion of ‘Kwaku Ananse’ from the Most Popular Song of the Year class.
“He has submitted his petition. The board will deliberate on that, and if it is justified, his song will be included,” Klah acknowledged.
He additionally inspired all artists who could have issues about their nominations to contact their group for clarification inside the one-week grace interval.
“If you strongly believe that you should be included, we fully support you. Reach out to us, and let’s address any necessary corrections and clarifications,” he added.
Meanwhile, Amerado has obtained two nominations: one for Best Rap Performance together with his monitor ‘The Hardest,’ and one other for Best Collaboration with ‘Kwaku Ananse Remix,’ that includes Fameye.
