Ryan Gravenberch leaving Bayern Munich is ‘almost inevitable’ this summer if the club don’t offer him a clear plan, with Liverpool eyeing up a move.
That’s according to journalist Kerry Hau, relayed by Soccer News, who says there is a distinct possibility the Dutchman will depart the Allianz Arena.
Gravenberch joined Bayern from Ajax last summer after establishing himself as one of the up-and-coming midfielders in Europe during his time with the Eredivisie giants.

However, he has struggled for gametime at Bayern since his arrival, failing to impress either Julian Nagelsmann or Thomas Tuchel enough to earn a starting role in the team.
He could find himself further down the pecking order this summer if the Germans can pull off moves for the likes of Declan Rice and Konrad Laimer.
Their hopes of a transfer depend on Bayern’s plans with the player and Hau reports that is a key factor which will be worked out in the coming weeks.
He explains that a transfer to Liverpool ‘may be on the horizon’ this summer but it will depend on what Thomas Tuchel ‘plans with Gravenberch’ next season.

The German coach will need to ‘outline a clear plan’ and offer perspective to the player and he will have to agree with it, otherwise a departure ‘seems almost inevitable’.
Liverpool is a potential destination for him as they look to completely overhaul their midfield this summer following their struggles in that area of the team this season.
They’re targeting a number of names and Gravenberch is one of them, with a departure from Bayern looking likely if Tuchel cannot present a plan that convinces him to stay.
