Veteran Ghanaian actor Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis has handed away after battling an undisclosed sickness. His dying was confirmed by Akunu Dake, Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Development and a detailed buddy, by way of a heartfelt put up on Facebook.
In the put up, Dake shared a photograph of the 2 of them and reminisced about their long-standing friendship and their time working collectively, notably throughout the Nineteen Nineties PANAFEST occasion. “This is very difficult for me. Rest in peace my good friend and colleague Albert Odartei Jackson-Davis. Able Deputy Executive Director during our PANAFEST years in the 1990s,” he mourned.
Jackson-Davis was well known for his impactful roles on display, typically portraying high-status figures in society. He was greatest recognized for his performances in movies akin to Beasts of No Nation (2015), The Storm (2024), My Very Ghanaian Wedding (2017), and Chasing Lullaby, amongst others.
His passing marks a big loss within the Ghanaian leisure trade, the place he was admired for his versatility and depth in his performing roles.
